Help needed for USAF Marathon

The Dayton-Wright Young AFCEA organization will be sponsoring a group of volunteers for the upcoming 13th Annual Air Force Marathon. This is the largest Air Force Marathon in the United States. The Air Force has a goal of 10,000 runners this year.

The USAF Marathon races are held September 19, 2009 on the grounds of the National Museum of the United States Air Force at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton, Ohio.

The races included are the Marathon, Wheelchair Division of the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K. A Sports and Fitness Expo is held at the Ervin J. Nutter Center, Wright State University, Fairborn, Ohio on Thursday, September 17 from 12:00 noon to 7:00 p.m. and Friday, September 18 from 12:00 noon to 8:00 p.

The Dayton-Wright Young AFCEA organization will be assisting in two areas:

Race Day: Runners Refreshment Area – Young AFCEAns Shift 2 (September 19th)
– 9:00AM – 1:00PM
Race Day: Refreshment Area Tear Down – Young AFCEAns Shift 3 (September 19th)
– 12:30PM – 3:30PM
